Muy Bueno 4 /5I would not stay at this place unless you had a rental car. Dont stay in August all restaurants in near by villages shut because of holidays those are the ones you can walk to.The Restaurant at the Castle has very limited menu choice once you have eaten there two nights you have tried everything.They could improve the situatiuon by renting out bikes or scooters which they dont do I mentioned this to the reception. The Taxi drivers who are local gouge guests if you use them. We wanted to go 5kms to a retaurant for a meal. The Taxi driver wanted to charge us 90 euros because he had to wait for us. This is unacceptable, they need to find a better and more fair way of getting guests to nearby villages. 65 euros to drive into Florence if you use the local taxi drivers. We got a taxi from the Florence railway station to Montifigunni for 47 euros so there is a fair bit of scalping going on be warned
