Excelente 5 /5When I arrived in Rome we drove up A1 to the Chianti area. It takes about 3 hours to get to the villa. We pulled off the highway and up to the vineyards. The property is nestled at the end of a long dirt road. It is very romantic. The property is awesome. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery which includes the grape vines and olive trees that are everywhere. There are walnut and plum trees that you pick fresh walnuts plums from at will. When you are in the pool the view is breathtaking. There is a ping pong, foosball and billard table on the grounds. As well as a tennis court. The staff was very good about telling you where to go and even making reservations for you if needed. The location is perfect for seeing Tuscany. Right in the middle of Sienna and Florence. From there I saw Florence, Sienna, Lucca, San Giminano, and Volterra. All were less than an hours drive. I would suggest getting groceries from the local market (PAM) as the drive to the Villa is somewhat remote. It is VERY romantic.
