A stone's throw from the village of Castiglion Fiorentino. Old farmhouse of peasant origins, where on the ground floor you can still appreciate the old stables. Located 1,5 km away from the town of Castiglion Fiorentino which can also be reached on foot. Farmhouse of peasant origins traced back to the first years of 1800. The house, that by the structure and the materials used for its construction can be traced back to the first years of 1800, since the beginning of this century has been point of reference to folklore events and in particular the land adjacent to the house was used for target shooting. Targets were aimed from 300 meters, and this gave its characteristic name to the villa. On site there is also a very old, small cellar with a 'volta' which can be dated back to 1600 where, on request, it will be possible to taste certified, organic wine and oil, the very own production of the farm.

Ancient farmhouse of peasant origins. Galleria di Brolio is an ancient stone farmhouse which origins are dated back to 1800. It is placed between two of the most important centers of Valdichiana, Castiglion Fiorentino and Foiano, and today is part of the farm of the owners. The farmhouse is only a few km away from the two towns where you can find, besides monuments and sites of artistic interest, shops, restaurants and all kind of service. The house takes its name from the Galleria di Brolio, a canal still operating today, located on the edge of the olive grove and part of the old canal built between 1932 and 1940 to improve the outflow of waters towards the Arno, already contemplated by engineer Vittorio Fossombroni for the reclamation of the valley at the end of the 18th century.
Woods, vineyards and olive groves. The farmhouse is placed on the edge of a 20 ha wood with oaks and pines used as a hunting reserve for the repopulation of animals which live here in the utmost of freedom and often happen to see hares and pheasants run into the olive grove, vineyard, and even in the meadow of the house. On ground floor an apartment occasionally used by the owners, besides the cellar and a shed for the farm agricultural tools, whereas the first floor is reserved to the guests. Furnishing is nice and comfortable and perfectly matches the characteristics of the house. Not far away, beyond the wood, passes the railway line which connects the center of Italy with the main cities of the peninsula (Firenze, Bologna, Roma, Milano).
The swimming pool surrounded by olive trees. A few meters from the house, amidst olives, a beautiful swimming pool (size m. 11x5, depth m. 1,10-1,40), completely fenced and for the exclusive use of the guests. At their disposal also a large porch equipped for outdoor meals, with barbecue and wood burning oven. The owner, on request, will prepare typical Tuscan dinners and pizza in the oven.

From the garden you can admire the ancient Castle of Montecchio, which preserves an intact circle of walls and a beautiful tower.
