This beautiful farmhouse is located in a very quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, where we have successfully been renting two other properties, La Pozza and Il Casetto for many years. The owners of the estate, with long experience in providing guest accommodations, completed restoration of this stone-built farmhouse in 2005. Their aim was to make it the ideal residence for those seeking a totally relaxing holiday in Chianti, so they have provided full-time staff to take care of the house and to prepare meals for guests. The interior of Casavecchia Volpaia has been restored with full respect for the typical Tuscan traditions, and each bedroom has been equipped with an en-suite bathroom Guests can enjoy incredible views from the covered terrace, which is furnished for outdoor eating and is also very practical for families as it overlooks the pool, allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the pool area. The fortified hamlet of Volpaia offers two nice restaurants, one of which owned by the estate. The English speaking estate staff can organize cooking lessons, visits to the wine cellars and will be glad to assist guests during their stay.
The property can also be rented with a cooking service (breakfast and another meal) at extra cost. It is also possible to rent it for 12 people with extra accommodation in an adjacent dependance.

This exquisitely restored farmhouse is situated in one of the most beautiful positions, right in the heart of Chianti Classico. From its secluded position the views are absolutely stunning, with all the windows framing a picture of the lovely Chianti countryside at its best. The spacious interiors have been restored to a very high standard, in an authentic Tuscan style and tastefully furnished with ethnic furnishings and antiques. The living areas all open via french windows onto the garden on one side and an internal patio on the other, making the rooms very light and airy. In the patio there is a lovely vine-covered pergola with marble table, ideal for “al fresco” dining. To the front of the house, the furnished terraces provide the perfect spot for enjoying the magnificent views. On this side, there is a pathway leading to the beautiful swimming pool with overflow effect, in a particularly panoramic position. The pool has a large shallow end for children. To the rear of the property, is a converted barn where the housekeeper lives. Resident cat at the property. There is a 1 km unmade driveway leading to Camporempoli. It was partially cemented at the end of 2013 in order to make it more easily accessible.

It is just a 300 metre walk to the centre of the hamlet, with two restaurants, one of which managed by the Castello di Volpaia farm, where it is possible to taste the local cuisine. Cooking classes are also arranged, on request, by the English-speaking local office. The house has a pretty garden with trees, vines and pots of geraniums. The swimming pool is in a beautiful position with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. There is a covered dining area just outside the house and another shady pergola for sitting and relaxing outdoors. The interiors have been very tastefully restored, using traditional materials, combined with modern comforts, including satellite TV, as well as well equipped bathrooms and kitchen.

Podere Mugnana is an ancient farmhouse composed of a main villa and an independent house, typical of the Tuscan hills in the famous region of Chianti, a few km far from Firenze and, at the same time, not far either from Siena, placed in one of the most beautiful and evocative areas of Tuscany. The house is situated in an extremely panoramic position and overlooks magnificent vineyards, silver olive groves, small hamlets and the splendid, medieval Castle of Mugnana, which is less than 1 km far from the property. Strada in Chianti, the closest village, is only 3 km far and endowed with small shops and restaurants, all the same Greve in Chianti, 13 km far, is the typical village of the area, immersed onto the renowned vineyards which produce the Chianti, one of the most celebrated wines all over the world.
One apartment in the farmhouse and the old barn. In the main villa there are two apartments, in one of them live the owners, the other IL GLICINE is at clients disposal. I PINI, on the other hand, is an adjoining independent house, born from the careful restoration of an ancient barn with a private, enclosed garden.

Two welcoming apartments situated in the historical center of a typical Chianti village, San Donato in Poggio whose origins date back to the 11th century. The original city walls surround this nice small town that has preserved its ancient charm and characteristics during the centuries. Within the city walls there are nice restaurants, pizzerias and general stores. All of the 2 apartments have been recently restored and provide nicely furnished interiors.
This property is half way between Florence and Siena, in easy access to the most important art cities in Tuscany.
A public parking is approx. 100 m from the property away (guests are allowed to park in front of the house to load their luggage).
