Villa Casanova is a typical Tuscan homestead from the early 1800's located in the unmistakable Chianti Classico countryside a short distance from the town of Castelnuovo Berardenga, on the Via Chiantigiana – a rural route that runs from start to finish through the renowned vine-growing and wine making region.
The farmhouse, with its stone facade offering 9 bedrooms and 10 baths, is set in vineyards and olive groves and looks out over a breathtaking panorama.
The interiors are typical of Tuscan rural architecture, with floors in handmade Florentine red brick and exposed-beam ceilings.
At Villa Casanova, the elegance of tradition is reinvented to coexist with such modern luxuries as the pool and the private well being suite.
Each of the tastefully-appointed guest rooms has a private bath, satellite TV, minibar, air-conditioning, and wireless Internet. Safe and phone service. Ample parking.
Villa Casanova consists of two buildings: the main house, where the guest rooms are located, and a second, facing building furnished and organized as a large veranda dining area for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Golf: For golf enthusiasts, a Golf Club in the Siena area with an 18-hole course, just 40 km from Villa Casanova. The club offers individual and group lessons under the supervision of a n Italian Golf Federation pro.

The cooking school of our Massaie, where true Italian culinary tradition is the order of the day, is a tribute to Tuscan cooking and its secrets as well as the history of a land which, with its recipes, has transformed its wealth of gastronomic treasures into tasty dishes with international reputations.
Our Tuscan Cooking Lessons reflect this tradition, offering our guests an authentic overview of local culture in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. The Massaie, the Relais’ exceptional cooks, generally prepare seasonal recipes, using fresh local products whenever possible.
The cooking courses vary as to duration and level of culinary expertise. The big kitchen-classroom is just what’s needed for a hands-on approach to learning.
We take care of the table settings, another “secret recipe” for a successful banquet. Key “ingredients”: faultless organization and the flowers of our gardens, fields, and woodlands.
