From the house and front garden you can admire the harmonious view of the fertile and immense Valley of the Chiana, enclosed on the horizon by the mountain ridges of the Apennines. All around the house a large garden equipped with garden furniture, barbecue and shaded by old oak trees, olive trees and other tall trees. On one side of the garden (which is around 5000 m2) there is a beautiful, completely fenced swimming pool (5 x 10 m., depth 1,20-1,80 m.) where guests can spend pleasant days in the hot summer sun, regenerating body and mind. In the heart of Chianti, between Firenze and Siena. Situated in the heart of Chianti between Firenze and Siena, at a short distance from Marcialla hamlet, divided between the Municipalities of Certaldo and Barberino Val d'Elsa, there is the farm holiday Fattoria Pogni, which historical core dates back to the XIV century. The small village is perched on the hillside about 400 meters above sea level, surrounded by stone walls and reachable only through an unmade road (1 km). Because of its position is even more part of Chianti's natural environment.
The large farmhouse, the farm and the cellar. The farm is composed of a large farmhouse divided into 4 holiday apartments, an hayloft divided into 2 holiday apartments, Villa Gelsomino which is a 4 bedrooms independent house and a manor house where the owner's family live. In another building the wine cellars and the ancient winery used, today as in the past, to age the wine produced by the farm, available for our clients to taste and buy. Moreover the farm produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil.
The largely equipped outdoor spaces. In the external spaces, surrounded by meadows and olive trees, there are a five-a-side football field, a tennis court, a jumping trampoline, a beautiful swimming pool with wading access and salt depuration system (size 20x8 m., depth 1,20-1,80 m.) and a splendid view of the valley and the surrounding hills. Each apartment has its own private outdoor space equipped with table and chairs where to eat outside and relax admiring the beautiful landscape of Chianti hills.
Apartments endowed with all comforts. The apartments has been recently restored maintaining intact their original features: the walls partly faced in stone, the chestnut wood beams and ceilings of Florentine terracotta, the floors of handmade Florentine terracotta, besides they have all the modern comforts such as air conditioning, central heating, satellite LCD TV with Sky programs, telephone, safe, microwave, toaster, dish washer and Internet connection. The furnishing, with original Tuscan antiques, fits in perfectly with the house style. Communal laundry room. Fattoria Pogni is one of the very few accommodation which may be titled to be 100% eco-compatible and energetically independent because of its solar and photovoltaic panels, in fact both for the agritourism and for the farm are only used renewable energies.

The worldwide famous Val d'Orcia. The Val d'Orcia is a wide valley located in the province of Siena, in the north-east of Mount Amiata and crossed by the river Orcia, which names it. Famous all over the world because of its peculiar territory characterized by enchanting hill views and the lovely medieval villages such as Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Quirico d'Orcia, Monticchiello. The Val d'Orcia is recalled for its typical dishes (the 'Pecorino' cheese of Pienza, the 'Pici') always accompanied by world-wide known wines such as the Brunello of Montalcino and the Nobile of Montepulciano.
The apartments and the restaurant, a few km away from Pienza. Palazzo Conti is only 8 km far from the spa of Bagno Vignoni and 4 km far from the beautiful Pienza, declared by the UNESCO a world heritage for its city plan and the importance of its monuments. The farmhouse is located on a high, very panoramic hill inside a large agricultural farm, and it is composed by a main manor house divided into 4 apartments and by the 'Granaio' where we find other 4 apartments all comfortably and functional furnished. Typical farmhouse in a panoramic, quiet and secluded position. Part of a typical stone farmhouse placed in really panoramic position on the hills of the border between Tuscany and Umbria, with view on the bright hills covered with green woods and on the charming Castle of Pierle. Ancient castle of feudal origins, Pierle was built in the 13th century to protect Cortona from the assaults of the nearby Perugia.
Around 5 km far there are the villages of Mercatale (Tuscany) and Lisciano Niccone (Umbria), endowed with all kind of shops and services. The road leading to the house (around 2,5 km long), part paved and part unpaved, presents some rather steep stretches, that can be travelled over with all types of cars but is not advisable for sportive cars.
The outdoors, the swimming pool and all services. All around the house a large equipped garden with gazebo and outdoor furniture, barbecue, wood burning oven. Taking a descending smooth path you reach the pool (size m. 5x10 - depth m. 1,20-2,30) available for the exclusive use of the guests. The typical Tuscan furniture guarantees a high level of comfort.
On request the owner can buy some basic food for arrival day, prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner during the week. Possibility to rent bikes and motorbikes and organize guided excursions in the surrounding hills.

In contact with nature. Borgo Antico is a beautiful farmhouse on the high hills separating the wide green Valdichiana from the high Tevere valley. Situated on the border between Tuscany and Umbria it is the ideal place for those who wish to spend a relaxing holiday in contact with nature and old rural traditions, far from the noise and frenzy of the city.
The location. The Etruscan city of Cortona is approx. 18 km far, and in 5 or max. 10 km you can reach restaurants and small shops for basic food.
Pool, external spaces and typical Tuscan meals. Close to the villa there is a wide green area equipped with outdoor furniture and a 6x12 m swimming pool (depth 1,20-2,40 m, completely fenced).
The villa is furnished with typical good quality Tuscan pieces and satellite TV.
At full guests' disposal there is a barbecue, a wood-burning oven and the possibility to taste and buy good extra virgin olive oil, wine and others typical products. On request the owner can provide some basic food shopping for the arrival day and every Tuesday he can prepare typical Tuscan dinners.

Sinalunga busy town of Valdichiana Valley. Sinalunga is a busy town in the senese Valdichiana which offers itself as an interesting tourist centre, its artistic heritage as well as cultural and folkloristic events attracting numerous visitors throughout the year. The old part of the city is certainly of Etruscan origin and is spread over high ground dominating the wide Valdichiana.

The holiday home we are proposing consists of three elegant apartments, the result of the clever restoration of an old warehouse beside a historic, noble palace. The original building features have remained unaltered so that inside the apartments the arches and ceilings with ancient brick vaults can be admired in their original splendour.
Panoramic garden and swimming pool only a stone's throw from the village center. In front of the house is a large, panoramic garden arranged on various levels and shaded by long trunked trees where garden furniture and a barbecue are available. In the garden, where each apartment has its own private area, there is a swimming pool of 5 x 10 metres which guests may share with the owner. The furnishings mainly antiques, in keeping with the architectural features of the apartments, are very comfortable, and together with the modern facilities such as satellite TV and wireless internet access ensure a high level of comfort. For its location, inside the village of Sinalunga but at the same time immersed in nature, this property is particularly suitable for rentals during all the year.
