This is a spacious and comfortable property on the edge of a small hamlet (Badia in Montemuro; NOT Lucolena in Chianti). There is an Osteria in Badia and a good restaurant (Borgo Antico) a little further away, towards Lucolena. Otherwise, the nearest place to find a shop (Coop), bank, and restaurants is Radda in Chianti, approx. 10 km away (on very twisty roads). A larger supermarket is the Coop in Figline Valdarno. There is a rail station here too, which is convenient for day trips to Florence. We will come back, for sure.
