The villa was absolutely wonderful. Situated on a mountainside near Arezzo, it is conveniently located close to many wonderful small towns and sites in Tuscany. The house is well furnished and decorated, and has a truly majestic view over the valley. We took dinner several nights on the balcony with its breathtaking views of the town below.
The hosts are also wonderful: friendly, warm, and helpful. They operate a restaurant nearby, where they serve meals using the products of their farm, and we can honestly say our meals there were the best meals we had in all of Italy.
Oh, and did I mention that there are several peacocks that wander the grounds? Oh, and wild boar came at night to visit.
